Mission | History | Leadership |  Karin Edgett Secretary Karin Edgett is CEO of SunFriend Corporation which uses NASA Spinoff technology to make their patented wearable technology for sun/UV monitoring. Over a billion people world-wide are suffering the consequences of too little sun or too much sun and it’s SunFriend’s mission to reverse that trend with empowering tools. Her co-Inventor is Shahid Aslam, a NASA space scientist and expert on sensors. Karin is also a co-inventor and owner. Her website is SunFriend.com Karin is also a certified nutritional cook and the former owner of an advertising agency in Washington, DC. She was long-term friends of late Kathleen Franzen and William Taylor and helped brand and grow INSPIRE before selling her agency in 2008.
