Mission | History | Leadership | Paul Schou Vice President Paul Schou is a Research Analysis for University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and works with setting up, administrating, and programming High Performance Computing (HPC) systems. He has a degree in Physics and Mathematics and is an active ham radio operator. In 2011, Paul redesigned the INSPIRE VLF-3b receiver kit and circuit board. He solders the two transistors to the circuit board prior to kit shipment. As Vice President, Paul represents INSPIRE at workshops and conventions throughout the U.S. |
The INSPIRE Project, Inc is a non-profit scientific educational corporation that provides engaging opportunities for students
to observe naturally occurred Very Low Frequency (VLF) waves generated by lightning and in the process gain hands-on, real world experience in science and electronics. It seeks to enhance educators knowledge of atmospheric and space science
to encourage our next generation of scientists. INSPIRE’s educational platform serves a wide range of science, technology,
engineering and math (STEM) topics and programs.
